The Grow Taller Myth

Most people assume that once you hit your maximum height in the late teenage years, it’s downhill for the rest of your life, or at the very least a plateau. However, this is a myth for the simple fact that there are lots of things you can do to increase your height well after hitting the natural plateau of your twenties.

What is true is that there is no pseudo-science or technologies that will help you grow taller. However, there are plenty of exercises, stretches, and diet tips that when combined an individual can grow taller by up to four inches. Now granted, four inches is on the high end for rare cases. But by collectively practicing a bunch of these techniques together, most can hope to grow taller by one to two inches if not more.

The first thing to do is make sure you are stretching every day. Make sure you are doing plenty of back stretches to maximize the space between each vertebrae and not only will you grow taller, but you will be conditioning spine against deterioration often experienced as people get older and more inactive. Good spinal stretches will keep you standing straight and tall well into your golden years.

The other thing to make sure you address is your posture. Especially if you work a job that involves sitting down for long periods of time, or you’re just a couch potato, correcting your posture is a must not only to grow taller but to prevent injury further down the road.

Finally make sure to maintain a diet rich in vitamins and nutrients, especially calcium, to maintain strength in your bones and cartilage. Combine all this advice into one cohesive program and you should be able to grow taller by at least and inch or two and maybe even more!
