Stretches That Will Help
You Grow Taller

People often assume that it is impossible to grow taller after they get past being 16 years old, and with good reason because most people don’t. But this is in fact a myth: it is entirely possible to add a few inches to your total at any point in adulthood by doing simple stretches and exercises that encourage leg and spinal extension. Unless you are already in peak physical condition (and how many of us can say that) there is always room to grow taller.

As we age, our bodies’ tendency is to compress in the leg joints and between vertebrae.  This is why it is commonly said that people get shorter as they age. The simple act of setting aside ten minutes for stretching every day, which most people don’t do, can yield some moderate results in your quest to grow taller. It also promotes flexibility in the joints and can help prevent deterioration of tendons, ligaments, and cartilage.

However, in order to really grow taller by a few inches, you will probably need to engage in some sort of resistance training. Any kind of anaerobic training creates nitric oxide and lactate in the muscles, which in turn stimulate human growth hormone secretion.
Once this hormone is activated it stays activated for over a day so you don’t have to have an extensive workout planned, just ten minutes of intense resistance training with be enough to keep those growth hormones flowing and help you grow taller.

Of course, always be careful not to over-do it and hyper-extend your muscles or tear a ligament. And consult a doctor to make sure you’re healthy enough to engage in the kind of quick, intense training needed to make you grow taller. Very few people live their lives at their full potential height, so if you’re tired of always looking up at people then get out there and start stretching!
