Grow Taller Tips
While some may say that it is impossible to grow taller after a certain age, for most people this is an untrue statement. There are lots of things you can do to help increase your height. By being conscious of all of them collectively, you can hope to grow taller by up to four inches. Here are five things that you should be doing if your height isn’t where you would like it to be.
- Exercise. People who are in shape have bodies that are extended. Their spines and legs are strong and straight, and the muscle that surrounds them encourages them to stay extended. Engage in both aerobic and anaerobic exercise as each has unique benefits, and don’t forget to stretch before and after exercising.
- Eat well. A healthy diet rich in protein, calcium, and amino acids encourages healthy bones and joints. In order to grow taller they need to remain strong, and in order to remain strong they need vitamins and nutrients.
- Eat small and frequently. Big portions are bad. You should be eating about five times a day, but never eating to fill yourself up.
- Maintain good posture. Especially if you work in a chair all day, your habit of hunching over will usually cause you to shrink over the long term, which is obviously not good if you are trying to grow taller.
- Get plenty of sleep. You grow taller while you’re sleeping, so if you’re not getting enough hours then you probably won’t see the results you want.
By diligently following these five simple guidelines, not only is it possible to grow taller by a few inches, it is very likely. Not only will you be adding height to your stature, but you will be promoting a healthy, vibrant lifestyle that will carry over into all aspects of your life.
